In Vein: A Charity Vampire Anthology Book




“In Vein” is a vampire charity anthology book where 100% of the proceeds will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital! With over 18 Authors, you’re bound to find a few vampire stories you’ll love. Tara Fox Hall

Tara Fox Hall’s writing credits include nonfiction, horror, suspense, erotica, and contemporary and historical paranormal romance. She also coauthored the essay “The Allure of the Serial Killer,” published in Serial Killers - Philosophy for Everyone: Being and Killing (Wiley-Blackwell, 2010). Her first full-length action-adventure novel, Lash, published in April 2012. Her vampire series begins in June 2012, with the 1st novel Promise Me. Tara divides her free time unequally between writing novels and short stories, chainsawing firewood, caring for stray animals, sewing cat and dog beds for donation to animal shelters, and target practice.

Mark Knight

Mark Knight grew up in Massachusetts, USA, and wrote his first novel at the age of 16. Settling in the UK, Mark continued to write stories of differing genres, including horror and television scripts. As well as working as a scriptwriter for children's television, Mark has scripted two horror speculative screenplays for Hollywood’s Little Slices of Death production company and one for Illusion Studios for which he has signed an Option Agreement.

Mark has won several short story competitions, and has had his work featured in published anthologies. Mark now concentrates on Young Adult urban fantasy novels.




Ann Snizek



Originally from Vermont, Ann Snizek now lives in Virginia with the members of her family still at home. As a home-schooling family, Ann and her husband have tried to nurture the love of books in their children and now their grandchildren -- always encouraging their imaginations. Ann is active in her community, supporting literacy by facilitating a creative writing club and volunteering as a tutor at the local adult learning center.

 
Mark Mackey

Mark Mackey, living in Chicago, started writing during the 1990’s when he submitted a simple poem to a contest which was later published in an anthology. In addition he has won two screenplay awards, one for the short screenplay Horror in the Woods, and one for the feature Length screenplay A Tale of Two Girls, both in the book Four Screenplays volume I. Also he has written several books in the process of being edited and three short stories published in three different anthologies.

Zoey Sweete

Zoey Sweete has been writing since she was around twelve years old. Always able to explain how she felt or put what she was thinking better on paper than saying it, writing became an outlet for her.

Zoey Sweete is not only an author but also the owner of Phoenix Fire Publishing. She wanted to create a publishing company by an author for authors. She believes working one on one with each of her authors and developing not only a business partnership but a friendship as well.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Errick A. Nunnally served one tour in the Marine Corps before deciding art school would be a safer--and more natural--pursuit. Jodie Pierce

Jodie Pierce lives with her hubby, John in Cleveland, Ohio along with four beautiful step-children. She has been writing since high school where here English teacher took an interest in her and started mentoring her. She has had a fascination with vampires since they were introduced to her as a child and has had a long history with them. It wasn't until she started reading the Anne Rice vampire books that she was truly inspired to write about them. She was an exchange student in Brasil in high school so you can find some of her experiences from there in her stories. Many of her stories have historical or researched facts as she also enjoys research and learning about new places. She has published five short novels(Eternal Press), a short story in "Midnight Thirst 2", an anthology(Melange Books), has two self-published books and has several short stories that she still works on. She has a new charity anthology with various authors where all the proceeds go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital due out Halloween 2013. She's always busy with the next great vampire story as her mind is non-stop and even plagues her dreams.
