Review. Wild Card (Raine Benares 0.5) by Lisa Shearin

Oh how I love Raine and her cousin Phaelan! Adore beyond what I ever could be able to describe! I found Lisa Shearin and her Raine Benares series after her second book; Armed & Magical had been released and The Trouble With Demons was close to come out. I fell hard.

There’s something absolutely magical about the way you’re pulled into the story, and how it refuses to let you go. Honestly, I have lost count of how many times I’ve re-read the entire series, and something tells me that I’m about to dive into it again.

Review: Wiggle & Jiggle (Skylar Wolfe Mystery #3) by Mariana Thorn

Wiggle & Jiggle is the third book in Mariana’s Skylar Wolf Mystery series and I love it more for every book.

Skylar and Levi’s moms are in trouble which makes them drop everything and rush off to help. Hot on their heels are Aiden and his lawyer friend Bryce, both ready to help.

While it looks like a good clusterfuck regarding their case, Skylar is about to walk into dangerous and unknown territory of her own with Aiden. Will she be able to take the jump?

Review: Demon in Steam (Alliance of Silver and Steam #0.5) by Lexi Ostrow

Felicia’s sixteenth birthday turned out to be very different to what she had imagined.

Seeing both her parents being killed in front of her by demons left her scarred for the rest of her life. Taken in by the Alliance and trained was her only opportunity. Driven by hatred and a thirst for vengeance, Felicia have been making London more safe for humans and dangerous for the demons.

On her first true solo mission she stumbles straight into the handsome Captain of the Guard; Greyston. No one knows that he’s an incubus, it doesn’t make him less dangerous to other demons – he hunts them just like Felicia.

The night takes a different turn than what both of them had hoped it would, but will it bring them closer or will Felicia’s hatred for demons break them?

Goodbye 2014 and welcome to 2015

Hello my friends!!!

I hope you left 2014 safely and got into 2015 with a bang!!!
As you might have noticed, it's been a bit quiet around here lately. There's a reason for that.

2014 was the year of change for me - in many ways. I tried, and failed to pass my exam in pharmacology. Since I failed, I couldn't continue as a veterinarian student. Yes, it hurt. Being a vet was my dream since I was a little girl and I've been working very hard for it. For a few days I fell into a dark hole.

But being the person I am, I crawled out, dusted myself off and got back into life again. I'm a fighter, have always been.

2014 was the year where I found out what makes me happier than school; I love being a post(wo)man. When I got the job almost two years ago, I never thought I would love it the way I do, but surprise, surprise, I do. SO when my boss called me and offered me a full time position at a different post office, I accepted. Currently I'm on contract for a few months at the time, and my workstation switches depending on where they need me. But I love being a postie, the freedom, the (mostly) happy customers, the fresh air biting my cheeks, the sun on my skin, the birds singing. Yes, right now it's cold and wet, it's Denmark, it's winter - we either get a shitload of snow or loads of rain. Right now I prefer the rain, because it's easier to drive in than a boatload of snow. Getting stuck in snow isn't something I'm keen on experiencing.

2014 was also the year where I finally started writing on my own. After being ridiculed as a child  for my writing, I stopped when I was around ten. A very dear friend to me *cough - Sarah - cough* gave me the courage to not only write a story that was close to my heart, but to submit it too.

And guess what?

It got accepted. Not only that one, but my second short story got accepted too! So I was published TWICE last year with some absolutely fabulous, amazing and super talented authors!

My first story was a part of the Dark Light Four anthology, The Beginning, and is also the prequel to my first series. I'm still writing on it, but am closing in on the end.
You can check out Dark Light Four on Goodreads HERE, or you can swing by Amazon HERE

The second anthology I was a part of was an erotic one from Hot Ink Press; Naughty Bedtime Stories: First Taste. My story is The Rescue, about what can happen when a cop has to make a late night stop at a vet clinic.
You can find Naughty Bedtime Stories: First Taste on Goodreads, or jump over to Amazon to take a peek.

Sooo.... Having a full time job, two kids, a husband that has full time job too, very little family (actually none) to get help from, writing and making jewelry... My blog has suffered. My priorities have changed since I started this blog. I really don't have the time to run a full time blog on my own anymore.

So.. In the time to come you will begin to see changes. Changes that will make this not only my home away from home, but my place as an author as well.
There will still be reviews, interviews, cover reveals and lots of other stuff, but on a smaller scale. You will begin to see more personal blog posts from me.

It's a new year, a new adventure and I'm hoping you will follow me on my journey!

HUGS

Release Day Review: Fight for Dawn (Dawn Trilogy #2) by Komali da Silva

WARNING: If you haven’t read Angels Dawn do NOT read Fight for Dawn! This is NOT a stand alone!

That said, I can move onto the review….
Fight for Dawn takes off right where we left her in Angels Dawn. Broken hearted, a mess, lonely and… well Dawn is devastated. She lost…. Everything in one night, and in real life, you can’t press a button a restart the game. It goes on even if you feel you can’t move along with it. That’s how Dawn feels like.

Review: Angels Dawn (Dawn Trilogy #1) by Komali da Silva

Dawn is a normal girl with ordinary dreams; her sweet sixteen birthday is coming up and all she want is… well, what any sixteen girl want ;-)

As it is…. Her birthday party turns out to be very different than what she expected it to be. Not only does Dawn witness a crime, but without thought she stands up against the bad guys, only to find herself on the receiving end of their treatment instead.
